Daily Steve TV Episode 1

When it’s been over a week since I posted my last blog entry, you know it’s either one of three things; 1) I’m on vacation (I was), 2) I’m sick (I wasn’t), or 3) I don’t have the time to write one (yep!). So, two out of three of these things kept me from posting a Daily Steve.

I was restless last night and thinking about what I could do to make short (1 to 5 minute) videos that I could put onto the site, and the answer was right in front of me. The iPhone 3GS has a wonderful capability to capture video, so I’d just hold the camera in front of me and talk. I tried this morning, and it worked well, although I need to get my workflow ironed out.

In order to make things easier, I’m uploading the video straight to YouTube. Trust me, I tried to see if I could use the video directly from the iPhone, but for some reason it was taking forever to try to save off a smaller version of the file and I finally gave up. I’ll try again some day if I have the time.

So, here it is: boring as hell, but explaining what I’m trying to do with Daily Steve TV. More to come soon!
