Woo-hooooo! I made it to 50,000 words in NaNoWriMo 2009

For the second year in a row, I'm a "winner" in NaNoWriMo. What that means is that I actually wrote my 50,000 words in 30 days or less.

Last year, I pretty much gave up on my writing as soon as the 50,000 word mark was passed, but I'm so tied up in the story this year that I've decided that I'm going to finish it. That means it'll probably end up being about 100,000 - 150,000 words long, because I think there's a lot of story left.

Once the book is absolutely finished, I'm going to let Barb read it, and then I'm going to go through it again and spruce it up, get rid of errors, etc… And who knows? Maybe I'll actually self-publish it.

    Howdy from Colorado!

I'm the owner of Raven Solutions, LLC (a Mac consultancy), App2Market (an iPhone application marketing firm), and Podbus.com (podcast hosting). In my vast amounts of remaining spare time, I'm one of the co-lead bloggers at The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW.com).

This blog is going to be a mixture of tech podcasts (I can't write about tech due to contractual obligations at TUAW) and personal diatribes. You may not like what I have to say, in which case you are free to move along.
